Luke was born and raised in Chinook in the family home built by his great grandfather, a fisherman and carpenter who immigrated here from Norway in the early 1900s. His paternal great-grandfather came to this country in the 1890s from Finland, settling in Naselle. There he worked as a logger and farmer, a tradition handed down through the generations. Needless to say, for Luke, roots in the local community run deep.
Luke graduated from Ilwaco High School and earned his bachelor’s degree from Washington State University. Luke has a background in customer service, and has worked as a freelance writer and photographer for many years. Through both fields, Luke indulged his innate curiosity about the world, enjoying getting to know people from all walks of life.
After high school, Luke followed the family tradition of logging and land development, and it was here that he began to develop an interest in real estate. After dabbling in investment himself, Luke realized that getting his broker’s license was the next logical step. With his extensive knowledge of the people and places of the Peninsula, Luke is excited to help individuals and families sell their property and/or find their dream home or piece of land!
